SORRY PLEASE if you read the title.
but that's true intentions. greeting the teachers.

is there a special forum to discuss this?, if I am wrong posting location.
previously I would tell my chronological.

I am sure your netbook users know that I was 2.5 "hdd consumers, which affected my harddrive BadSector or slow reading
"just glowing windows logo only on for 1 to 4 hours,: v: v I think spiders will nest to me if you have to wait.

I find people use MHDD to analyze and fix. fact, so many bad sectors on the hard disk. however I do not have it scanned directly into a laptop ("they put it on the PC and bit setting, I do not know it").

well does anyone know how to make MHDD "or anyone know the best software than MHDD, because I do not really know what exactly MHDD function", how to MHDD runs on windows. indeed run on Windows PE maksduku such as Acti ** @ bo * TDIs * << sorry if here is prohibited called.

MHDD is intended for :

0) IDENTIFY the disk (tell you if the disk is working at interface level and how it identifies)
1) SCAN surface (tell you if there are "bad" blocks)
2) ERASE disk
3) SECURITY ERASE disk
4) Display SMART status / start SMART tests / enable-disable SMART operations
5) do some other things like modify max LBA, AAM parameters, write sectors to a file / write disk from file etc.

IF the "bad sectors" problem is LIMITED you can ERASE the disk , ONLY THIS at user level. The "remap" feature is of limited use and the results are uncertain.
What you want is repair / refurb drives with moderate or in any case bigger problems that MHDD can solve : well, the answer is : you have to BUY more powerful tools (that usually are HW and SW).

So with MHDD you can ANALYZE but FIX is limited to "non-problematic" errors.

Secondary question : MHDD is intended for working in pure DOS so you have these options : make a bootable stick / CD and run MHDD from it, make a dedicated PC (MHDD starts from floppy too) OR try to make it work with Windows (with 98 is no problem, with XP you need to play with I/O to make it work as XP by default "grabs" the ports), with 7 I didn't try yet.

Play with MHDD and read the online help (HELP command) to discover how it works.

thanks for the response,
you are right, I just think that if MHDD also work as "low-level format"?

I still do not understand the "hw / sw" you? do you mean the hardware n software??
oh yeah do you know how I can cut up the bad sectors it. :?:

I would argue, because apologize in advance. I've read about the deductions sector, where they throw a bad sector (I think it was like putting it into G-list / service area), but of course capacity were also reduced.

so whether it be like that?  :?: ?? may use certain software that I do not know. software tools such as Partition Wiz ** d that facilitates partitioning by simply tugging size.

God will add anything good that is shared by humans. including science :D

What you call "low level format" is nonsense on modern drives.

TO access drive internals (i.e. G list etc.) and manipulate modules, lists etc. you need specialized tools. And of course know what to do or the result will be loss of data or a bricked drive.

About the rest, you can make a "hidden" partition that include the "bad" area with loss of overall capacity but it doesn't repair the problem. But you MUST know where it starts and ends. And in any case that's not a brilliant idea - it's the last resort for end user with no other option.
