Hey Guys, I'm hopeing someone can help me out.

I've got this WD Green which seems to belong to Sadle G6 family. However it does not seem possible on PC3k to edit RAM heads map for this model. When I attempt to edit head map in Kernel mode I get an error - RAM Range FFE00000 reading error, device error detected. I have never seen this model of drive before so perhaps it's normal but I'm not sure.

I'm wondering if this is a problem with my drive or if the utility just doesnt have the ability to edit RAM headmap on this drive. If editing heads map is not possible what the next best proceedure?

Thanks

Test a healthy G6 drive on your system. Still have this problem?

No problem editing heads map on any other G6. Mind you we dont have any other WD20EURS drives to compare against.

Why do you need to edit head map in RAM?

I don't think they like it if H0/1 are bad.
