Hi,

I am trying to make a backup image of a flashdrive using HDDRawCopy1.02Portable.exe.
So I want to select the drive letter of the source but it does not allow that.
I can only select 1 file on the drive to make a copy of.
But I need it to make an image backup of the complete flash drive including boot sector.
Is this tool not capable of doing that?
Can I only use it to copy 1 file from a disk?

Regards,

Roeland.

Although I don't use this utility, it should be able to make an image backup of the source flash drive. I just downloaded & tried it here (since, unusually for me, I have to use a Windows PC today) and I could clone a complete source drive OK. One possible reason for what you describe, could be lack of permissions for your Windows user account. Have you checked this? I wouldn't be surprised if some anti-virus software also prevented access to the underlying drive. Those are a couple of suggestions for you anyway...

Thank you for the tip, looks like not having admin rights caused the problem.
Running HDDRawCopy1.02Portable.exe as administrator indeed does the job.
