i have wd10tmvv-11bg7s0 that a customer brought , claiming that the drive was locked by a password , and he didn't even set one !!!

looking into the problem , i foundthat this is a common problem with wdsmartware ...

any ideas will be appreciated .

drive was not dropped , and no ubnormal sounds from it ...
