Hi

I have a drive with these scratches.
Does it worth to swap heads?? Or will they be killed on the moment?

Thanks

They will be killed when they reach that area.

Rarely works. More headache than success.

Have had limited success by installing "limiters" but not great.

I wouldn't offer free parts on this recovery, I would ask the client to pay for 2 or 3 donor drives upfront. If they refuse, then the data cannot be so important and let them take it somewhere else.

I have some solutions but the outcome is unknown and in such scenario I would ask diagnose fee and parts upfront.
