I need a little help for a WD20EARS-00MVWB0

Hearing the drive, it spins up but isn't recognized from bios or OS level.
A friend tells me that where a fw bug so i ordered a new PCB from internet. The only difference is in the PCB review (REV A vs PC1) and sellers says isn't important :\

I put the board on and tried to boot up, now the drive spin up and stop completely after two tries..

You might be lucky ...

As for PCB swaps, look for a chip at U12. This chip needs to be moved from patient to donor.

That said, it probably isn't a PCB issue.

With the original PCB, drive wont be recognized but spins up perfectly .. i'll try cleaning method
With the buyed PCB, drive is recognized (driver-level) for a short time then after two spins it dies
With another PCB (found one of the same model, differs PCB REV), drive is recognized (driver-level) and spins perfectly

Sounds like you have either a fw problem, or a suspect/weak head in the drive. I very much doubt the PCB is at fault.

I suspect the PCB you bought either has a rom from different family drive in/on it, or the head map in ROM is different to your drive.

By fw problem I mean fw on the platters, not PCB. So not DIY
