 Post subject: Who has experience with LVM2

Who has experience with LVM2

Client had 4 HDDs where 1 HDD contains O/S. Where other 3 drives are connected as a LVM2.

2nd drive is crashed, is it possible to retrieve data from 1st and 3rd drive?
well, here is a point after making a LVM2 how data is/are stored. I have no info. That's why asking who has knowledge regarding LVM2 and experience please.

I guess it depends on how the LVM RAID was configured. If its redundant, chances of recovery are good. If its non-redundant, like a stripe, nothing recoverable is likely.

Well,

It should be redundant because 3 drives are in different size. 500GB, 300GB & 500GB in sequence.
