first try to upload ata overlay 11 number module in ram . then upload 01 to rom .
then open module directory then upload 01 and 35 then reset power
now again connect hdd . now upload module 11 in ram . then open module directory and upload all modules .
if u not upload 11 module to ram ,u cannot access sa.
its permanant overlay module

thank you for the hint ..

am aware of this method , but , u can't upload a mod to ROM , there are onlly two new options in the new dfl program

upload modules dir to RAM and upload a module to RAM

and even after uploading 01 to RAM am still unable to access SA , and not able to write modules neither by id nor by aba

i would appreciate if u can take a look by teamviewer

What is the firmware revision of your drive?
There are two groups of F/W and the approuch should be different for each one of them.

Did you try hot swap ?
Bad sectors might have been found while doing the SA format, correct ? If so it might afect ROM module containing sa translator/defects.
I have never tested with this and sadle is a pain... If you do the hot swap the defects on the donnor sa will be diferent so most likely will not work either...
Interesting, interesting !
More testing is required.
The more i learn DR the more i realize how little i know...

thanks for the answer ..
indeded sadle is a pain ..
