The problem in the hard drive

WD20EARX 2.0 TB
MDL:WD20EARX-00PASB0

When i pluged the hard drive in my computer

It seemed to me that he suffered Bad Sector .. i have used the HDD Regenerator

During the scan .. The program freezes and stops working

I got up close it through the Task Manager and when i restart .. The system did not boot .. I got up to separate the hard disk

After I've run the device. I connect the Hard again shows like undivided

When what I tried to split it .. Does not work and show me this message Sector 0 error

How can I solve this problem with the knowledge that I do not need the data on the hard drive

HDD Regenerator is useless. Period.

IF and only IF the "problem" is a "soft error" that goes away zerofilling the drive (use MHDD or so) , assuming you don't need the data on drive as you stated, it's good.

Otherwise the drive nneds to be professionally refurbished (if there is no other problem) OR replaced.

All this without professional tools.

In mhdd (or other software) could you try to run scan from different positions.
Like scan from 1 000 000 to end sector
From 10 000 000 to end sector
From 50 000 000 to end sector
From 100 000 000 to end sector.
If it start with error from 1st sector of scan more likely you have some issue with bad(weak) head that is preventing the drive from LBA access.

Frist, I apologize for my terrible English language

Socond I newbie

When I scan from any sector 1 or 50000 or 1000000 or any number always get error and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from 0 to the last sector

when i search in
WD Support / Knowledge Base / Diagnostic Error Codes

Error code 581
Write Fault
When either writing zeros or relocating a sector, the Write command failed. Drive should be replaced

the Agent of Western Digital in our country refusal change the hard and say the Warranty is one year but its 3 years

They say only data retrieval service no hard disk fix

and I do not want to restore the data only want to make it work again

when use EID

The drive can be probably be fixed by pro (have an idea about whst's failing but without a complete diagnose it is just guessing).
The outcome may be a working drive or the 2TB has to be downgraded to a smaller capacity.

The only concern is the cost : maybe buying a new 2TB drive is simpler.

P.S. don't buy WD again, get smaller and less critical drives like Hitachi or Toshiba that are the same, or if you want enterprise class drives for whatever reason , look for Seagate. The smaller the better.
