Hello,
i've this 7200.11 drive with fw SD15 which has 0 lba issue.
I can see ID in pc3k and DRD - DSC but with 0 LBA.

I did translator regeneration in terminal but i get error:
Error 1008 DETSEC 0000500E Process Defect List Error
R/W Sense 00000002, R/W Error 841C008E, List Offset 00000000, File Error 00000001

In HD Doctor i tried also the function 'Fix Capacity Error' and 'Fix Capacity Error with exclusive mode', i don't get any error but when i go to boot the drive i get still 0 LBA.

This is the terminal log of everything i've tried:

I don't know why p-list is damaged, maybe some user attempts?
It's possible to recover data in your opinion?

Module ID: 2B (?)
Description: R/W Operating Parameters (translator, etc)

The original problem (LBA 0) sounds like a corrupt translator; perhaps you cannot regenerate the translator because there are bad sectors in the "R/W Operating Parameters" module. Or maybe the problem is just that it cannot read one of more defect lists.

I don't think that there are bad sectors in mod 2B because HD Doctor reads it easily, but maybe it's a logical corruption on that mod.
Can someone tell me if mod 2B is really corrupted by viewing it in a hex editor?

Can i overwrite 2B from a donor drive without loosing data?

You can't use 2B from other identical drive - its unique!.
Try to examine defect list modules and fix.

All mods have been read without errors in HD Doctor (physically they are all good), but i can't tell if they are logically corrupt.

I uploaded mods:
