Probably a weak/suspect head, make a head map in DE and see if any heads read faster/slower than others

Already tried head MAP and found that both the heads are working slow.
Even after RAM head mapping they are slow individually.

I just noticed that it takes lot of time reading Relo-List. Even if i try to Erase Reli-List or clear it it does not get cleared and its 380 odd entries does not get cleared.
Could that be the problem ???

Thanks for your replies
Tried all the above suggested by "Splidit" and "Waqas"
Yes i have been disabling relocation by selecting correct box.
Tried clearing Glist and regen translator.
It is still reading slow in DE and remains BUSY for fraction of seconds before proceeding

Any advice further experts ??

hello
open 02 module in hex and after this word (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 0HXZ0022) all values will be 000000 and then save it to module 02,to remove idle mode.

Thanks Waqas again,
I tried to edit Mod 02 as suggested by you.
I noticed that Copy 0 is not getting edited and it remains the same. Copy 1 is edited but the problem remains the same.
In a working drive i am able to edit and both copies are getting edited.
What do you suggest ??

ah that is the thing, now you find the damaged and read only head, due to which reading is slow. try to use selective head image. or head map in ram.
