Basically, I had my PC case open and something conductive flicked up and touched the circuit board  PC froze and HDD made a constant interval clicking noise, I rebooted and there I was with this problem. I figured I just killed the circuit board so I replaced it, but to no avail. Problem is identical in symptoms as with previous circuit board.

I have an old Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3200820AS which is no longer being recognized by windows nor can it be booted from. The thing spins and its a constant spin, and there are no clicking noises. Under the BIOS I can see the drive listed as a bootable disk, but when I go to boot from it will pause then move on to next boot device. In another PC, the hdd isn't picked up in BIOS at all.

Any ideas as to what is going on here and how I could possibly fix it? Worst case scenario I take it to a data restoration store but will avoid if possible.
I have over 400 worth of bitcoin on there and I'd really like to get them off :(
Thanks!

hello,

you mentioned, that old drive was not visible in windows? Then it's also not possible to boot.
The best way is, to use bootable CD and check old drive. For problematic(clicable) drive, post more data about it, and also picture of PCB(both sides)
