 Post subject: Seagate 7200.9 shift track

Is it possible to shift module track in SA area.
I try to write ATA module, and report me, that was succesfully, but reading failed
Any suggestion, how to fix write and read of ATA module.

If you self-scanned your drive and get a message "Unable To Load Overlay" than you either not writing it the right way or your drive may have other (head?) problems. Whichever is your case, shifting tracks will not help. As regards your question, the only way I know to relocate system area is to self-scan your drive from N2,,22 (what you might have already done) after you backuped the drive's firmware.

Hello,

I switch heads back to donor and everything Works normal.
Switch heads back to patient drive is in usy state on HDD4Seagate.
I perform following terminal command and get error on CTRL+U command. Any suggestion to fix. I need to recover data
