please help.
i need PCB's for my damaged 250 GB ATA drives:
1* hdt722525dlat80 oct-2007 0a33697ba21620c7a s/n: r625krrt p/n: 0a33697
2* hdt725025vlat80 dec-2005 0A31611ba14660s5c s/n: t4dbg0tk p/n: 0a31611

can You focus me on something proper?
What numbers and codes does have to match replacing PCB's in deskstars?

the secound case, hdt725025vlat80:
After turning on, plate spinned, head ticked twice and bios didn't detect disk (disk was still spinning), but detection duration was longer than other empty ata positions in BIOS, finally disk stopped working (plates & head are not moving)... I wonder if SA, PCB or both are damaged?

Can someone please describe the service area failure symptoms in this model, or compare my description to help me recognizing what's going on?

The SA area failure is not a failure per se. It is a matter if the SA can be read by the read-write mechanism and if read or accessed, then are any of its components are corrupt?

As far as your drives, more than likely there are other issues non-related to the SA (these are more or less assumptions strictly based on whatever info has been provided in your post, which are facts that could all be wrong/leading in the wrong direction/etc. Should probably focus more on the PCB and the drive's mechanics. Or at least those should be the areas to address first.
If not experienced and data is important, then the best course of action is seeking a data recovery specialist. How would you know if they are a data recovery specialist? Ask them: what do you specialize in? If the answer is not simply "I specialize in data recovery." then this is likely not the provider for you.

Just a pointer, some of the firmware resides on the PCB, which is a critical component in Hitachi drives.

thanks for Your advices ill search for more info, it will be bit difficult due to my smartphone size...
i replaced pcb in my secound drive with another not from exactly the same model. plates spinned and head ticked repeatedly. I also conected original pcb without my disk from case 2. Bios detected something that had 1mb size o_O. My experience is very minute once i've succesfuly restored maxtor diamondmax 9 without losing data by replacing pcb and transferring firmware chip.
aby more advices will be appreciated
