Hi together,

sorry for my bad english. I´m from Switzerland and i hope anyone can help me and my Hdd :-)

I got the same problem as you can see in the Video

http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showth ... ?t=1377352

i didn´t open my Hdd, but it`s the same sound and same clicking.
some guys think, it`s the platine, some the Hdd Head.

I want to rescue my Data, not the Hdd. After copying it`s trash for me.

Thanks for Help and greetings from the Alps :-))

Are you opened the HDD? if you do not got a laminar cabinet and yoou opened your drive this is bad news.

other wise, mybe FW problems, or heads or media problem.

if you do not have skills and profesional tools, the best is to contact with a pro.

Probably both.
If it's screaming like that in the video you posted, it's probably both.

I do agree with others that these drives are bitches and you DEFINITELY need pro help with that one (if not too late already).
