I've been dealing with a locked hard drive for about two weeks now. Um, I have learned a lot by viewing other people post. Right now, I'm using MHDD 4.5. The bin file that was created looks completely different from what others have posted. To me, it looks "empty". The hard drive I'm working on is WD500BEVT-75ZAT0. Most of the scripts that I found on here comes back with a DRQ error. Here's what worked for me:

regs48 = $d5 $01 $be $4f $c2 $a0 $b0
waitnbsy
checkdrq
sectorsto = INO1.bin

regs48 = $d5 $01 $be $4f $c2 $a0 $b0
waitnbsy
checkdrq
sectorsto = INO2.bin

All you are doing is reading log file 0xBE twice. It's essentially meaningless.

You mean that's what the script is doing? shucks!

Log 0xBE is used to transport a Vendor Specific Command (VSC) to the drive. Log 0xBF returns the data requested by the VSC.
