Are you sure? I've found these are a little fussy regarding DCM. :-)

The patient was dropped on the floor. No abnormal noise. Very little grr. Sometime.
Patient - July 2013
Donor - Nov 2014
In exchange of heads-
Drive IDs, but no access to SA.
No access to data area.
In reverse, similar symptoms.
So, the heads were compatible.

Any thought regarding the case?

Yes, i'm pretty sure.
Same head map, same platter capacity, same PCB rev with same MCU, same country,
same model, with same HSA (WD10JMVW-xxAJGxx drives has a same HSA)

The question is now, the donor HSA is still alive? The damaged platter can damage the new HSA too.
I think you cannot access to SA and any LBA sectors, because the new heads are toasted or in a bad condition.
Now try a hot swap with another donor, read out all firmware modules, and then try a smart hot swap method. I think this is your last chance.

As long as you do not compare DIT patient and donor, it can not be argued.
Besides remain adaptive parameters heads which can be very different.
Nor any information about the DIT and adaptive prametrah on labels HDD not.
The newer the HDD, the more difficult to pick up a donor.
You can find several dozen donors with the same DIT, but no one will not work.
Hot swap method also does not work well on them.

DCM indicates only the vendors, but their parameters.
On older disks, selection for DCМ worked, because there were few components with different parameters.
On new disks oriented with at DCМ there is not any sense.

The HDD SA is locked I see. So, no option to modify fw...
Patient and Donor head shows exactly same symptom on patient hdd.
HSA is still f9. The donor HDD is working fine with its HSA after swapping back.
For compatibility issue, I can place the patient hsa to donor to see how it goes.

Well, all I can say is that I (and at least 4 other DR guys) have had issues with head matching on these, and DCM helped (matching one particular digit). Only seems relevant to Shrek and Hubble drives as I remember, not in lab at the moment)

I don't think that the OP gave enough info to render a helpful opinion.

Here is a small sampling of successful head swaps. I guess to give a full picture I should have documented the cases where the swaps don't work.

I haven't 100% confidence what is going to work ahead of time, but I suspect that the manufacturer might be important.

shahij,
The first step you are able to spend?
- Compare DIT patient and donor.

What tool do you work with them?

What specific letter?
I do not write DСM
But especially for you to compare drives with such letter by DIT
(You can write to the PM)

As Jono mentioned, there is no way to know this with the information provided. To be relatively sure of a compatible donor there are several specs to match. Same model is a good start (though the one you have is close enough it might work) but you also need to look at the DCM (try matching the middle letters as much as possible, beginning and ending letters aren't as critical). Also match the date as closely as you possibly can. I shoot for within 2-3 months though in a pinch I've had drives that were 9-12 months off that did work (though usually not as well). Also you should check the head map as shown in ROM to be sure it's the same (sometimes drives that should match just don't).

Post the full specs of the drives and then we can help you to know if they are compatible.

Details info about DONOR and PATIENT

PATIENT
WD10JMVW-11AJGS1
DCM: HBMTJHB
DOM: 05JUL2013
Malaysia
SN: WXD1AXXXXXXX

DONOR
WD10JMVW-11AJGS3
DCM: HHMTJHK
DOM: 04NOV2014
Malaysia
SN: WX11AXXXXXXX

Assume you can generate DIT from the DONOR, but how can generate the DIT from PATIENT?

Easily.
Fix patient heads, so they do not escape to the surface.
Or put them in another HDD in place with the patient PCB
In kernel mode, see DIT.

In kernel mode, you can access to ROM. It means the DIT is contained into the ROM or MOD47.

you can read patient ROM in kernel mode and compare the DIT with donor to see if heads are compatible, this is where we would start.

MOD47 contains SA adaptives.

good luck
