Hello ,
Today i Got One Case From One Customer .The HDD Label And The Photo Are Presented In The Post Here .Can Someone Gimme a Confirmation That PCB No 2060-771820-000 Rev P1 Is On The Following HDD From Western Digital WD5000BPVT-75HXZT3 [ I Am suspecting That PCB Is Not Native ,Though I May Be Wrong ].If Indeed It Is Same Has Anyone Tried a Different PCB Part No In This [ Motor Ic Is Fried ] .As China Office is Closed For Thier Holidays I Do Not Have a Spare With Me " Can Some Indian DR Help With Spare " . I Do Have a Few SATA PCB's With Same Microcontroller But Different Motor Controller

PCB number is correct for the drive. 771820 is a very common board, you dont have another like it?

According to the R/N, the PCB should be 1692.

But I have seen different RN and PCB number also. So, little bit confused if it's original or not...

You have 2 options:

Ask client (mostly client lies or can't tell correctly)
Or depend on 2 boards.. 1692 and 1820

This supplier suggests that the PCB could be original:

The date codes on the PCB all precede the date of manufacture on the label:

2211 (on PCB component side)
1122 (SDRAM)
1117 (MCU)

PCB is original. I had similar cases like this before. But according to the damage I think that Pre-amp is gone too.
