Hello, at the beginning I wanted to point out that my English is based mainly on the basis of the Google translator, so if something is unclear please ask.
So yes. This patient WD15EADS - 22P8B0 some known Disk. Disk seamlessly worked for two weeks beige any alarming symptoms of damage, what is more, everything was ok with it. SMART approx. Data is not important, because I could not even write anything, Drive is empty. Previously, the situation was even too, so that any attempt to read sectors ended in the red block, so as not to see the translator.
Today, the situation looks like this:
When connecting the PC drive, reports the standard WDC ROM MODEL DF3PL4K SN XYZ, PCB is native. Moreover, WDR run the full version as shown in this video, LEDs do not light DRD and DSC and light for a while ERR, ABRT, and at the same disk spins, spins, and then the spin stops, no heads Clicking, selecting WD-Royl The green light DSC and nothing more. Don't access to SA.
Of course, I attached ROM drive modules that previously gotten ROM ver: 007700C7 SA ver: 007700C8 test log of all the heads. Any suggestions?

Yes, but I think there is nothing to prevent the patient to try to learn the intricacies of operating in SA disk.
Heh, most easy way out, buy a new disk. Believe it or not, but I already did :)
If the patient has a smooth heads as evidenced by the test, no it's probably nothing to preclude treated myself to him. In any case, do not count on a ready-made step by step, and even if it is something to do with the disk in no case it lands on auction sites. You have my word. And I hope that so far everything is understood. Ps. Only count on the support forum, a hint

On those model drives, it is quite common for one or more heads to be damaged even when the drive does not click.

Hello Labtech, Test heads was successful, as evidenced by the test log. What's more, just upload a different ROM, and drive spins fine, heads not clicking, light DRDY DSC, but I know still do not have access to the SA. ROM native upload causes just strange anomalies related to the start-up.
Do you understand?

I understand and I am sticking with my story. Heads test in SA is often not conclusive enough.

Hello everyone, Drive works again. The cause was, MCU Marvell 88i9045.

But, I have one question: How to fix it? Alternatively, the module that is responsible for that?

Hello Spildit :)
Quote:
Did you replace PCB and swap ROM to conclude the problem was with MCU ?

nope, i had, in their collections, the processor PCB 88i9045 so, the PCB native faulty processor desoldered and soldered efficient processor, as you can see, it worked.
You can see on the screenshot HDD name, SN, FW.

Quote:
How do you intend to "fix" the MCU if as you stated -

The motor did not want spin, and by the way the heads did not want to calibrate. As the attached film.

On the other hand I am concerned on how to improve the entries is marked with a red line, which is responsible for that module.
Do you understand me?

Heads from 0 to 5 with 250 GB each :

0 - 250
1 - 250
2 - 250
3 - 250
4 - 250

= 1.5 TB

What do you want to improve ?

Missing 5 - 250GB, Therefore, I want to change that.
Drive has 6 heads, no 5 heads
Quote:
What do you mean by this ? How could the heads calibrate on a non-spinning disk ?

In my case it was like trying to drive the motor to spin out, you could feel the vibrations, and when the heads were calibrated to the drive motor is stopped. Now you know what I mean?

Thanks Spildit, could you hint that FW module is responsible for these sections?
