Hi all
I am planning to start a remote photo / video recovery services . Software should establish remote connection and map memory card as local drive.
Using raw / signature based technique all formats of photo /videos and audio recordings will be recovered on remote pc. Software also should have capabilities to make image of media.
Ideally for remote connection no client software should be necessary so that customer will not be aware of the same. ( Microsoft technical support use windows in built plug in for the same.
Has anyone tried for such services or know where can I get ready platform ?

Windows does in fact use client software, but it is developed by Microsoft. Why should they not be aware? You are going to have to consult with them to put the card in the drive, and for permission to log into their PC anyway. you cant assume everyones PC is going to be setup to do some arbitrary connection. Much better to have a process that you know and trust that you can tell your customers.
I would love to now how you expect to connect to someones PC that is not running some kind of host/ client software

But IMHO you are trying to base a business on drives that have simple logical problems. The card has to pretty much work properly for the mapping of the drive to work. You can remote with R-Studio. I really don't think this is a very good business plan. Basically the only thing you are going to be able to do somewhat reliably in the way you describe is accidentally deleted files. and the card must have been not used after.. video files are notorious for non-perfect recovery.
