Hello everybody,
Concerning my Hitachi 250Go which is not spinning. It sound like it is probably either the head or the motor. I am thinking about sending it to a data recovery lab (it is expensive I know) since I do not have a clean room. I want to know first the approximate price.
Second, according to you, what is your top 10 data recovery lab taking in mind the criteria such as: price, reliability .......

As most of us have our own labs or work for one, we will all be biased to ourselves.

So choosing a data recovery lab at random is my solution?

Given that we all will be biased toward ourselves, I say we all recommend a few other companies we'd vouch for. If I were to have to pick a company (other than my own

) I'd probably go with:

Not at all. Hard to tell about Algeria, but I'd suggest at least to read the reviews at reputable sources (which of them to consider so is another question) and if possible, to visit chosen companies in person afterwards.

Dmitri, I don't trust anybody in Algeria and I doubt if they have a clean room.
Having said so, I have a choice between the UK and the US (uk is close), which lab to to choose in the mentioned areas remains a question.

Hi guys, I want to share with you my experience.
I gave Mr. Sean (Pcimage) a call then I sent him the drive. As predicted, the problem was the preamp. The diagnosis took no more then one day and the total recovery no more then a week. All my data was recovered 100%. It was a very fast and professional service with great customer service at the price that's right!. *****Five stars to Pcimage*****
