 Post subject: Can I Recover Files From a HP Restore?

I had files in "my pictures" directory in Windows 7 Home Premium. I backed up all my files except the ones in the "my pictures" directory. After the HP factory restore, I copied 86 GB of files to the hard drive. Is it possible to extract or get the files in the old "my pictures" directory?
