 Post subject: interesting, same exact drives, with different PCBs

i bought an HDD (ST) for HSA replacement both drives are identical, same model, PN Etc. manufactured in the same country, and... even on the same day, and noticed that they have a different PCB number, has anyone came across this ?

maybe, but bottom Line both PCBs can be exchanged (although i never tried to find a replacement :) )
