Hello,

i have try to unlock two HD103SI Drives.
I dont know the password, i believe a virus may set to locked mode with random password.
I have a another bunch of WD green series drives that i could unlocked with a master password (wdcwdc...).

To unlock the two Samsung drives i have read a unlock thread about a HM160HC drive:

After reading the HM160HC thread i expect the password in offset 00000040 to 00000050.
I have tried this (and other variants e.g. 00000030 to 00000040).
Additionally to use Vicoria 4.46 b to unlock i used HDAT2 in MS-DOS.
The assumed password seems to be wrong (see attachment).

As a final step i read the 16 Security Module from a unlocked (never locked) Samsung HD154UI and i receive this:

Nearly the same data pattern, i hoped i can see a bigger difference betwenn a locked drive and a an unlocked drive to figure out, where the password is.
Can anybody help me to locate the the password?

Password is encrypted. You need just write 0 to 0x10 and write module back to drive. That is it.

Witch tool can write modules to the drive?
The version of SHT2 that i am using, is only a free version and allow read only.

I had tryed ZU in December 2015 on a Core I 5 System.
It cant unlocked the Disk, instead it run endless without a influence.

Now i tryed on an another System and it unlocks the Disk in milliseconds.
