Hi, I Have 2010 Seagate and have the error on startup SMART Status Bad Backup and Replace Error
The disk still read in Disk Management but unallocated?

Is safe to use UFS to read the data?
Or have ane idea to read the data back?

Thanks for your information.

Regards

I would clone it first (with ddrescue for example) and then run the recovery s/w on the clone, as it sounds like the drive is dying.

Just be glad Segate gave you a warning :D

Don't work with the original drive cause it is already degraded. Clone to a new drive like Pcimage said, then work with the cloned copy using UFS, R-Studio etc.

Update,
Failed using ddrescue, it's says the destination drive is full. But I already prepare 2 tb wd drive for backup.
I decide analyze using testdisk and get this result.

I try to copy but always failed.
Any suggestion for newbie like me, and sorry my english is very bad.

I try using ufs file recovery but can't read the data.
Try using testdisk right now. But still on 80 % in deep search.

What is the model number of the Seagate drive?

How many partitions are on the Seagate drive?

I would examine the clone with a disc editor in readonly mode. Could we see the Partitions window in DMDE (freeware disc editor)?
