I have a 1TB WD External HDD and when I plugged it, Windows show me "NORELSYS USB BOOTLOADER USB Device" and can't open, Format or...

I used some partition manger programs too but Failed.

What is your idea?

As Norelsys make USB charging/controller chips, I'd say the firmware in the USB board is bad, or there is some problem with the board. I guess the HDD could be the fault causing issues to the USB Board, but I would start with the board.

is it possible to put the HDD directly on a SATA port of a PC?

My Motherboard is OK because I can Open other WD External HDD and this HDD have problem. My External HDD is WD Passport. what does "fault causing issues" mean?

Could we see detailed photos of both sides of the HDD PCB?

I suspect that the board may have one of the following USB-SATA bridge ICs:

Typically when there is a problem with the firmware for the bridge IC, or sometimes if there is a problem with the HDD behind the bridge, the bridge IC will identify itself with the Product ID and Vendor ID of the chip's manufacturer rather than the PID and VID of the HDD manufacturer.

Does the HDD spin up, or does it make any faint sounds that would suggest it is trying to spin? Did you drop it?

UVCView and USBDeview are two utilities that may tell us a little more about the bridge IC:

I never mentioned anything about the motherboard. inside the external usb hard drive there is a converter board to convert the hard drive (sata) to USB. it can be a separate board, or all in one on the PCB of the hard disk
