According to the Ace Labs this could be a Type 29 or 30 pin-out. My particular chip is also reversed (mirror image of the pin-out map). Anyone have experience with these and know which pin-out its likely to be?

This is a UFD right? Toshiba TransMemory. chip ID should be 0x98 0xde 0x98 0x92

do you have a photo of the PCB side ?

Yes it is UFD. I am working remotely tonight so don't have a picture of the PCB, but I have attached the two different pin-outs from Ace Labs. My PCB is exactly the same, but a mirror image.

I think the highr numbers are the IO pins, so if you mix them up looking for an ID, I don't think it would hurt the chip. maybe try both. having a mirror image PCB is a bit strange IMHO.

just at least try and confirm GND and VCC is as in the pinout if you can, you don't want to mix them up

Why you ask Ace for it? If they have pinout they probably develop it, or... :)

These images are from Ace. They say the pinout could be either. No other choice but to try both. Just thought you guys might have seen this mirror image version and know which one it might be.

Hmmm....

Ace stealing pin-outs again, claiming them as their own again and getting caught red handed again.. What's new, must be their revolutionary lack of technology in the monolithic realm.. Whats new..

Okay Mr B, lawsuits aside, best educated guess as to which one it might be....
