And that one is with the new one.. but you were right.. the drive isnt spinning with the new pcb.. :(

Sure, with other utilities and with a name chosen for a condition by the programmer.. Theoretically, {if such and such, then "bad pab"} could be written.
And we all know, leaving testing to any OS based diagnosis utilities when it comes to failed drives is at best mediocre.

The point is, the drive itself does not present such a code, because it is not designed to do so.

Sure, the message is probably misleading, but the point is that the error message comes from the bridge firmware. Please read those threads again.
