 Post subject: WD1600AAJS-60B4A0 PCB Swap

I have a WD1600AAJS-60B4A0 Sata hdd with PCB Burn with no ROM on the board and when I attach the donor PCB....paitient hdd motor spins continuously but not get detected.

is it legal pc3k from Acelab ?
there is a way to rebuild ROM on these Marvel drives in pc3k (original).
read your manual.

This is expected as the donor PCB is not compatible "as is".
