Is any one know about firmware update for Maxtor drive?

Most intersested of Maxtor Fireball 3 (ARES C64K 2F030L0), more recent will be interested too...

_vi , I think, is looking for the F/W update program like
you can get for N40P and Calypso. You can do a lot with
these programs which are normally distributed by Maxtor
only to Compaq/HP and IBM. These are not F/W modules.

Sorry _vi - I have not found any update utility for Ares.

very fanny answer if you talked about resource for pc3k - this is not needed, i repaired 10+ Ares last week (besides other task)

i interested in firmware update which fix firmware bugs...
