Hello,

Could you help me unlock Seagate ST3250312CS Pipeline HD.2 with ATA password? At the moment I have only available terminal cabel.

In MHDD I have status PWD, Warning: this drive is locked by ata password.

Thank you Spildit for this link. I will tried this method but I can't unlock this disk.
So I used this script two times one time I start initial buffer from 0B00 and second time by default 0A30. Genarated file are different.
From both time script created on my computer file __PWD.bin.
Next I tried unlock drive using Victoria.

Code:

35:18 : Open file: C:\_DUMPS\__PWD.BIN
35:25 : Reset OK
35:25 : Get passport... Timeout
35:25 : Get drive passport: Drive error!

Unfortuatly disk still have the password.

Maybe the OP could temporarily reconfigure the SATA controller in BIOS for IDE or compatibility mode.

I unlocked this drive using this script!

Code:

30:27 : This drive locked by ATA password!
30:27 : Model: ST3250312CS; Capacity: 488397168 LBAs; SN: 9VT01GNL; FW: SC13
31:20 : Open file: F:\vvv\_DUMPS\__PWD.BIN
31:27 : Reset OK
31:27 : Waiting of readiness... Drive is ready
31:27 : Get passport... OK
31:27 : This drive locked by ATA password!
31:27 : Send password from file: __PWD.BIN. Type: USER, level: HIGH
31:27 : Unlock complete
31:27 : Send password from file: __PWD.BIN. Type: USER, level: HIGH
31:27 : PWD removing complete
31:27 : Reset OK

I used another PC becuase Victoria didn't saw disk during my fist attampt. And using Victoria I sent password to drive.
