hi there,
i ,ve wd2000js which is dead, logic board is replaced with donor including the u12 rom chip now it is detecting in bios but 8.1 gb.
i thought might be the donor pcb which is not matching exactly. So i arranged 2 other donors but the problem is still 8.1gb.
Can u help me ???

we will be glad to take a look.

but if drive has heads/media problem am afraid there is not much you can do.
the drive is also known for head alignment issue if am not wrong.
