Yes.


I'm not so sure. You can often get away with a fair amount of difference with Toshiba, but that's pretty far off. I'd try to match at least the part of the part number before the / if not the whole thing. I certainly wouldn't buy that as a donor, maybe I'd try it if I had it and didn't mind the possibility of ruining it for no good reason.

I agree with Martin. I have tried a very similar donor on a patient like this and it worked.
There are two types of head patterns for this drive, though.

For Toshiba, inside the family there is no mismatch at all. Often enough - even out of family.
