I have a WD My Passport Ultra 2TB. I hear THE SOUND when I connect the hard disk to any PC. I don't see the hard drive. My Disk Management says 'Not Initialized'.

I opened diskpart and it shows that the hard disk has 0.00GB of total size.
I downloaded MiniTool Partition Wizard to try 'Rebuilt MBR' but I cannot do any thing on that disk as I have no options.

At last, I tried initializing with Disk Mgmt, with MBR, error is "The request failed due to fatal device hardware error" and with GPT, error is "The specified disk is not convertible because the size is less than the minimum size required for GPT disks".

Please help me. A way in which I do not lose my data of the hard disk would be appreciated.

It's a Passport so will be native USB.

Without proper tools and knowledge I don't think there's anything you can do yourself other than find a data recovery company to help you.

If the drive is USB only and you don't have tools and experience the only thing that i can think of is for you to get a copy of HDDSuperTool and attempt to read the drive modules by USB.

Also does the drive show any S.M.A.R.T. data ?

I downloaded CrystalDiskInfo 7.0.5 but it doesn't even detect my hard drive, only shows internal disk.

Hi! I dont understand what do you mean with this

Are you saying you hear a clicking noise or a regular "all is working fine" noise?

Best!

The "all is working fine" noise. But a beep sound comes out after every 2-3 minutes.
By the way here, I was talking about the sound that windows make when it detects a USB device. I also have the eject button for hard drive on the taskbar.

Hi, if CrystalDiskInfo 7.0.5 doesn't even detect your hard drive you should go with a pro. A beep sound could mean heads or surface (or both) problems.

Best!

Thank You all for your help... Maybe now, I will consult the Service Center for the fix. By the way, I really appreciate you all giving your time!
