Well, its been a long time since i published something new about this subject,,,

But here is it,,, I do believe most of you don`t know it,,, here is few examples and the rest you will have to figure it out

Based on the attached image, the code will tell us few things to expect from the drive, like for example:

My Passport (Encrypted drives):
__________________________

0730 Helios
0748 Firebird
0830 Passport Ultra Hubble LT

Element:
_______

25A2 Palmer, Shrek LT,
2621 Charger

I used to take notes about those cases long time, but now i have my own small customized DB engine which gathers all of those notes and gives you similar results based on similar patterns

My only wish is that Clients forget to do their backup to keep our Biz. going...

This is for 2020 guys,,,
All the best

It's called "Schadenfreude".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude

Quote:
Schadenfreude is the experience of pleasure, joy, or self-satisfaction that comes from learning of or witnessing the troubles, failures, or humiliation of another.

The word that best describes my feelings is "disgust".

It would be like a dentist hoping that people would ignore oral hygiene so that he could do more route canal "biz", or a smash repairer hoping that people would drive less carefully, or a cardiologist hoping that people would ignore dietary advice so that he do more heart surgeries.

Even if you don't care about your customer's predicament, it's good biz to at least make him think that you do, and very bad biz to openly delight in it. That's just basic PR.

I wonder when it would become "indifferent"
