Someone tested Heads swap to WD20SMZW from WD20SDRW???

Post the ROM code from module A0 for both drives. Starts with an |R|, e.g, |R|NZPA5NS

If you can't isolate module A0, the code segment of interest is located near the very end of the ROM dump.
