Drive will not spin.

All readings on diode test...
12V TVS = 600 one way.
5V TVS=500 one way.

I am not sure which resistors are the 0 ohm. R67 (one of them maybe)? It shows open.

I have a short between sata power connector pins 3 and 4, but not pin 4 to pins 1 or 2. But pins 1-3 are short as I would expect(3.3V pins). Can I put kapton tape over pin 3 like in "shucked" drives? I would rather find the problem.

R67 is the zero-ohm resistor for the 5V TVS diode. You need to replace it with a fuse, or flow a blob of solder over it. The other resistor is for the 12V diode.

You can test for shorts to ground at each of the 4 rectangular inductors adjacent to the motor controller IC. The other squarish inductor appears to be part of the -5V supply, in which case it will be wired to ground.

I don't understand the reason for the short between SATA power pins 3 and 4. In those models where pin #3 is used for power disable purposes, I would expect that it would control a high side load switch, but this board doesn't have any. Are you sure someone didn't run a jumper or a solder blob between those pins?
