This is another BS story from an IT guy, he probably has been screwing around with some partitioning tool. We see for example the ESP labeled partition show up as both GPT
and MBR type partition. We GPT and extended MBR partition. These are things that should not exist at the same time. IF MBR type partitions we have no GPT, IF GPT we only should have
one MBR type partition, the placeholder, the protective partition.
I'd ignore partitions and for example use DMDE's special sector scan to locate all FAT32 and NTFS boot sectors and see which make sense. Very brief demonstration:
