Laptop fell and its broken, I took out hard drive but I can’t access the files on it even with PCIE NVME adapter. I don’t see any missing or broken components.
Where is the efuse? it looks like this drive has several, is that possible? Can someone find it so I can test voltage with meter?

The 9 pin chip i thought was the efuse has:

V1, V2 and V3 are probably correct, but I can't be sure.

Your SDRAM (LPDDR4X) appears to have Vdd1, Vdd2, Vddq voltage ratings of 1.8V, 1.1V, 0.6V.

Vx/Vy appears to be a 1.8V LDO linear regulator. Other similar P31 SSDs have a switchmode regulator at this location.

These two parts appear to have the same function and pinout, but their markings don't match (yours is "HJ"):

If you don't intend to pursue professional recovery (it probably isn't possible, anyway), then you could try placing the SSD in "safe mode" or "ROM mode". In this mode the SSD should identify itself with its factory alias. I expect there would be a shorting point in this area, but I have no idea how to find the correct pair of pins:



Alternatively, you could try shorting the Data and Clock pins of the temperature sensor IC with a metal probe just before you power on the SSD, and then release the short within a few seconds. Hopefully the SSD will detect a fault and revert to safe mode.





If the SSD identifies itself, then this will prove that the controller is not brain dead.
