Hello,

Case : 1.Toshiba MQ01UBB200 USB no power , no spin
2. Got Compatible sata board put patient ROM
3. PC3k Bsy only , no spin , no stuck up sound

Doubt - There are 2 rom chips on USB board ( G003309A) IC 606 (WINBOND ) & IC602 ( 25 NO.)
Tried ic 606 on Donar sata board but no bsy , no spin
Tried ic 602 on Donar sata board but bsy signal , no spin

Which rom is correct & why no spin ? No problem in Soldering rom .

Below Compatible list for Reference to DR people

Here's a list of compatible USB to SATA boards for conversion:

USB ---------> SATA

Confirmed:
G3448A --------> G003235B or G003235C
G003309A -----> G003235B or G003235C
G003296A -----> G003138A or G003235C
G003250A -----> G003138A
G003054A -----> G002825A
G3959A --------> G3918A
G003189A -----> G003138A
G4330A ----------> G4311A
G0034A -----------> G4311A
G0039A -----------> G4311A
G003296A -------> G003138A
G003309A -------> G003235B
G3711A ---> G3235C

One ROM is connected to the MCU, the other to the bridge. Obviously, when you switch to a SATA PCB, you would use the ROM that is connected to the MCU. That's because the SATA PCB has no bridge ...

Show us photos of your patient and donor PCBs.

Can you upload a ROM dump? Perhaps it is corrupt.

Be careful while transferring IC 602 (ROM)
Applying too much heat will ruin any data recovery attempts.

Good luck

IC602.
Donor board must have same MCU and motor controller.

On your SATA PCB, do you see IC602 or IC606?

Please use some common sense.

Hello,

Sorry

"On your SATA PCB, do you see IC602 or IC606?

It is patient board USB . not Donar Sata pcb.

we can't see nothing on that image, neither the part numbers on the MCU nor PN of the motor controller. please post high res pic where IC markings are visible.
