Hello, I am working on a WD20SDRW-11VUUS0 with an 800067-001 PCB that spins up and sounds good when powered up by the Deepspar USB Stabilizer but does not show any ID. I wrote the ROM to an unlocked SATA PCB and have full SA and LBA access (but the data is encrypted obviously).

Before I outsource this case to have the MCU moved to another PCB, is there anything to look for on these PCBs? Would converting the PCB to SATA help?

Thanks

Try a USB 2.0 cable or USB 2.0 port. It could be that USB 3 signalling is open circuit.

Thanks for the quick reply. It is now showing up with a generic model and the correct SN but no capacity.

Convert the native USB PCB to SATA via (E71,E72..etc) and you will get UA access decrypted.

Good luck.
