Hi All,

Just wondering if it's possible to diagnose a firecuda ST2000LX001 at home. My pc was running fine until it decided to blue screen then wouldn't boot till this drive was taken out.
Unsure if its worth trying at the moment or if anyone has had success getting their data back.

Cheers

the most you can do is attaching a serial terminal adapter (1.8V capable one) and check the terminal output. then decide how to proceed...

Check if it spin up or not.
If it is not spin up then you have a serious problem, as it is SSHD drive with a common NAND issue which you can not handle it at home.
