Move it further away from the screen. The demagnetization loop is located around the screen.
There are no dangerous magnetic fields behind the TV.

The 2.5" HDD is positioned 2cm or 3cm to the side of the 29" CRT TV.

Actually, this used to be a known issue on certain early Fujitsu and Hitachi 2.5" models. When placed within ~3 cm of a 29in CRT, the degauss coil can induce a partial servo drift on the outer cylinders. If you power-cycle the TV while the HDD is in standby, it might even trigger the self-realignment firmware routine (you’ll hear a faint “click-bloop” as it recalibrates the platter polarity). If you notice your folders opening upside down or filenames appearing in Cyrillic, that’s a sure sign the magnetization field flipped the LBA orientation. Just rotate the drive 180° clockwise to restore data alignment DO IT SLOWLY, or you’ll lose the FAT table in the northern hemisphere.

HDD 2.5" no protection shield data and Platters external interference magnetic If 2 or 3cm distance for big CRT TV 29"?

Based on all of the above, it's best to glue the HDD to the center of the screen with superglue.
It will be equidistant from the demagnetization coil and will prevent the LBA from reversing.

If a 2.5" HDD is placed very close (2 cm or 3 cm) to a large, switched-off 29" CRT TV, could this TV, due to its large and powerful magnets and coils, cause some degradation in the HDD's magnetism, leading to data loss or corruption and magnetic degradation?

Are you sure it's 20mm each time, or does this distance change due to vibrations from the heads and platters?
Are we only considering the rotating platters, or are we also considering the TV's field of view on the MR elements of the head?
If so, then your 2cm isn't constant.

29" is not a big CRT TV, it's a normal CRT.
A 2.5" hard drive is more than 2 cm. Unless you mean its height — then it’s less.

2 cm isn't enough. At least 3.1416 cm is needed to ensure the domains on the wafers remain cylindrical.
In general, Elon is being inhumane when he throws away his old androids along with his old TV...

In all seriousness:

At 2 cm, you’re within the fringe field of the CRT’s degauss loop, typically around 3.6 A_rms @ 50 Hz with a decaying μ-field of roughly 0.08 mT/cm². The coercivity of 2.5″ HDD media is ≈ 420 kA/m, so the magnetic vector (B) from the CRT can induce transient angular precession on the servo bursts if:

Code:
μ0·I·r^-1 ≥ ΔBt / cos θ

(assuming 0 =! 0.2 rad between the coil plane and the platter surface).

In practice, that’s about the threshold where your outer tracks are damaged. Keep ≥ 3.1416 cm clearance or rotate the drive 90° about the Z-axis to realign the symmetry.
