Hi,

I’m working on a Seagate ST2000DM001 (Grenada) with Head 0 dead. Before the failure, the drive could identify but the heads were weak, so I backed up all resources, including ROM, SA modules, and system files. After that, Head 0 failed, and now the drive does not identify / does not go ready.

Is there any way to access user data using the existing SA backup, and imaging H1, H2, H3...etc without performing a head swap?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I need your guidance regarding motherboard compatibility for the MRT tool.

My system configuration is:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz (12 CPUs)

Please suggest which motherboard (chipset/model) is best suitable and fully compatible with MRT for stable performance.

Looking forward to your support.
