 Post subject: Help please - gpt-mbr mess

Hi, please if somebody can help me, i need to recover an mbr partition from a disk that was converted to gpt by mistake, I have tried testdisk, but it doesn´t show me anything, as if it was unpartitioned, any other program or technique I could use?

What sort of disk is this? Model number? Virtual drive? "Passmarkosfdisk"?

it was an hitachi, but the pins got all busted so I had to make an image, and I dont remember the model :/

Tick the Advanced Mode checkbox and drag the vertical scrollbar from top to bottom in the right hand pane. Do you see any data?

If the disk was converted to GPT, then why is there no GPT metadata?

thats what I´m asking, no gpt or mbr, is there a way to recover old data from there?

How can you expect to recover anything from an image full of zeros? Even if your drive was TRIM-ed after formatting, it should still have a file system. Your story makes no sense.
