Here is a reference circuit for an SM2258XT:

There are three LEDs.

One is a power LED driven directly from the 5V input after passing through the e-fuse.

The other two are driven by the controller. One is an activity LED connected to P10 / GPIO1[0]. The other is connected to P15 / GPIO1[5].

I dont have the exact donor. That's the problem. The Patient and the donor have different BGA NANDs

Mine from Teamgroup have onle 1 LED in the middle

It's not a power LED. It must be some kind of activity indicator, as @Lardman has suggested. I think you have a firmware problem, or maybe there is an issue with an encryption key??? If you have another SM2259XT donor, you could try to swap its controller into your first donor and see how it behaves.

Well, i managed to get a donor board. Swapped the NAND over. And it turns out both Controller and Nand have problems. Controller is 100% dead. Nand lost 1 channel
The SSD is beyond unrecoverable. SAD

Why is PC3K sensing a 64Mb (64Mbyte?) capacity?

64Gb, i don't know why up until now it still shows 64Mb. It is programs issue. The interface still have russian here and there

Double check the nand, you should be able to at least ID them in whatever flash tool you have PC300 flash? If you can't at least you can say you tried, obviously wont help you with recovery but might improve the prognosis.

Yep, i double checked in pc3000 flash. Nand can only ID 1st part. 2nd part is dead
