I have used so many PC chassis over the years. Some old motherboards are also obsolete. Got rid of desktops and now use laptops exclusively.

My hard disks are in USB boxes and many are stuffed with games galore. As larger disks become available I have consolidated them to some extent.

My old SATA USB cable is best for low power 2.5" devices . The WD Green 2TB SATA SSD I have is stuffed in a USB box as it has enough room for backups etc. I see people trying to cash in on the AI bubble, my SSD was rather inexpensive when I bought it new but now it's over $250 USD.
