Hi guys, i´m new to MRT, so if anybody can give me any tips would be nice, i´m kinda stuck in virtual environment.
I have this ST2000LM007, Janus_R 1 family,
3 heads were cloned already, head 2 is bad, high resistence, giving 241A errors.
So following a MRT video, i´m trying to adjust the head in "Modify area adaptive parameter", after the modification the video sugests to write to ROM.
After that it tells to go to "virtual start".
Drive goes BSY every time, so i know i´m doing something wrong, so i need to write original rom backup to chip and start over.
The "virtual environment" window has 3 options.
Here are my doubts.
Option 1 - Virtual start boot (ROM), do i load the original unlocked rom? Do i need to press "create virtual boot" or "write virtual boot" buttons?
Option 3 - Virtual start (Loader), i created a loader with the original rom before, is that right? There´s a button "Download virtual resources", i think that is when you start the virtual process, right?
I´m confused about the modified rom being saved to rom, but in virtual start i load the original.. don´t know.
In the video i can see some options checked too, "serial port unlock", "patch DWF", "patch translator error" and "patch translator process"
Thanks guy

Here´s the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lKvzmVMBM4

I think i got the virtual start sequence now watching another video.
1. "Cretae virtual boot" -> "write virtual boot"
2. "power switch" -> "exchange commands"
3. Load loader and "download virtual boot resources"
In this old video it selects all patches but not the "translator" ones.

After changing the "adaptive parameter", write to RAM goes BSY so far trying to read sectors, and i read that write to ROM would be a better option.
