Hi all!

A little advice please?

Got a Toshiba MK6025GAS, spins up OK, and becomes ready.

Will start to image, but gets to LBA 145272 or so and will not read any further.

I sent it to a DR company and they said it was heads. I am a bit doubtful as it reads that far.

Any views?

Data is very important.

Thanks in advance

OK, thanks for your help.

Do youknow why it read read a little bit and then stop at the same place each time?

There are two heads in the drive, does one head read a bit and then the other?

What do I need to match from a donor drive for head swap?

TIA

Hi,
as far as I know this drive has 4 heads, and H2 looks defective.
(H0 is the first)

It only has two heads, so I guess H1 must be defective then?

Thanks guys, for your help.

Will try head swap tomorrow.

Cheers
