Hi Guru`s
I am from Germany ,my english is not so good.More speaking as writing.
I have know of microcontrollerprogramming,assembler..
I want prepare a new hd for xbox to use, my first one goes 100%,and these not.
IT is maximum Locked, because i have make me a terminal-cable, it works 100%, the hd answers.
The seagate documents will me not help, i don`t know what he does.
Data erase its no problem, the hd was new.
When i can read the sector of 32-Byte Passwort ,or Overwrite iàm Lucky.
(with command & Level)

Hmmm I should be more specific.

First read ATA Spec (PDF/DOC)

Then you need send commands VIA I/O PPRT (PATA/SATA)

Using ATAPWD... never used it.. But you will need to know what 0x20h is in ascii if you want to use that software
